6) That an FDR Memorial is being built in Washington, DC. President Roosevelt was disabled and a very powerful person who used his abilities and not his disabilities. He founded the March of Dimes. N.O.D. feels the Presidents Memorial Commission must change the design of the historically inaccurate taxpayer-financed massive Washington Memorial to the former President. President Clinton is Honorary Chairman of the Commission. Eight FDR grandchildren have written N.O.D. in support of them.
