Even though I'm physically battered, my soul and
mind are still strong;
As long as I know it never mattered, if they thought the body's the song.
They are the men and women I meet that just don't understand;
the body's only a tool for the mind, it's the mind that makes the man.
I want them to realize, the many things I do;
Then they'll start to recognize, the strength within me too.
The physical self no matter how fine, gets old and withers away;
But my soul and my mind are immune to time, and what I've got is here to stay.
