....Yes it true. Free prescription medication is available for those who qualify. Millions of Americans have little or no health insurance including prescriptions drug coverage. Prescription drug costs have skyrocketed in recent years, leaving people with no insurance to abandon the necessary treatment that could be a matter of life or death for some.
But there is help. Thanks to a well kept secret, many Americans may be missing the opportunity to take advantage of free or low cost prescription medicines. We at Reach Out Magazine feel this is an important issue needing to be addressed. we have found a few programs out there for those who qualify.
The first program is called the MedicineProgram This program works as a middle man between you & the pharmaceutical companies. Most drug manufacturers provide free medicine for those who qualify, however they may have lengthy forms to fill out. The MedicineProgram will submit your application to the drug manufacturers for you, for a nominal fee.
If you would like a list of pharmaceutical companies that offer free meds, we have provided 3 email auto responders for your convenience. They are A-F: pharmacysaf@reachoutmag.com, G-P: pharmacysgp@reachoutmag.com, Q-Z: pharmacysqz@reachoutmag.com
Please note there are requirements to meet such as not having prescription drug coverage and an income that falls within their guidelines
There is also another program for Veterans. This program administered through the Veterans Administration provides prescription meds to qualified veterans for a only $2.00. Eligibility is dependent upon their requirements. For more information you may contact the VA at1-877-222-VETS (1-877-222-8387).
Finally, for those of you who might not be eligible for either program and must pay for your prescription, an alternative may be to purchase your prescription drugs online. Online pharmacies tend to be more competitive & offer better prices than traditional pharmacy stores and some may even meet or beat competitors prices. Some online pharmacies such as; Drugstore.com, offer low prescription prices. Additionally, you might try wholesale clubs like Coscto, Sams or others. In Florida and I believe it may also be available in other states, the pharmacy in the wholesale club is open to the public. You do not need to join and pay the membership fee for the wholesale club to use th pharmacy. Please check with the pharmacy directly to confirm.
